How to get started with clean NFT? Three steps.
If you feel like you are missing out on this whole NFT trend and your head hurts from technical explanations on how blockchain works this article is for you.
I will explain in five simple steps on how to get into (environment friendly Tezos) clean NFT using Hic Et Nunc platform. I will focus on Tezos blockchain as it consumes so much less energy than Ethereum and is so much better for our planet. Disclaimer: this is not the only right way to do NFT as there are many platforms and wallets that support clean NFT, however this one is the path I’ve tried and tested and can therefore share my experience which has been super positive!
Crypto account
To buy and sell cryptocurrencies you need an account to exchange regular money for crypto money. Coinbase is an app that allows you to do that. You can use my invite to get 10$ for free (I will then also get 10$). Just type tautku_in promo code during registration or use the following link:

To get verified, they will ask you for a picture of your ID and a proof of your address (any bill will do).
After you set up Coinbase, buy some Tezos (XTZ) to start with.
Wallet
In order to connect to blockchain you need a special wallet. The simplest way to do that is with web extension. I recommend using Chrome as it is usually working smoother than other web browsers.
You can download Temple web extension here.
After installation you will need to create an account. It is very important to write down the seed phrase and keep it somewhere safe as it is your recovery password. Preferably, write it on paper and do not forget where you place it.
To get your Tezos money from coinbase, click the Receive button on Temple. You will see a QR code. Go to your Coinbase app on your phone and click Send. Type the amount. Click on the QR icon and scan the QR code from your computer’s screen with your phone.
You should now see the transferred amount in your Temple wallet.

Finally, you can connect to Hic Et Nunc platform with your wallet. Go to https://www.hicetnunc.xyz/ and press Sync. Choose the Temple wallet.
You can now browse the gallery and check out the art on Blockchain. If you want to own a piece, click on the Collect for .. button.

If you want to sell your piece, click on OBJEKT (mint) and upload your work. Then, go to Swap and enter the number of pieces as well as price per object.
